Born in the Village.
Paul Wiesner is one of the few people who can claim he is a native of Greenwood Village. He was born in 1965 and grew up in Greenwood Acres. His parents moved from Greenwood Acres in 1974 to Green Oaks. Paul purchased the home in 2006 where he currently lives with his wife Heidi and his three sons: Charlie, Luke and Brodyn.
Serves the Community
Paul has always dedicated time to serve his community. He was President of the Green Oaks Homeowners Association for 8 years, served on the Home and School Association at All Souls for over 10 years including his rolls as Treasurer and President and was Treasurer for the Arapahoe Highschool Boys Swim Team. He served as a Board of Director and Chairman for the Tennyson Center, a home for neglected, abused and traumatized children.
City Experience
When it comes to experience with the City of Greenwood Village, Paul is currently serving his first term at Councilmember for District 1. He also served two terms on the Planning and Zoning Commission which reviews and advises the City Council on land use activities and the Comprehensive Plan for the physical development of the community. Prior to this, he was appointed to the City’s Board of Adjustments and Appeals to review variance requests on zoning ordinances.
Professional Experience
Professionally, Paul is currently the CEO of Realty Connection, a software firm that provides a streamlined solution for recruiting and retention of real estate agents. He is also the President and CFO of White Rhino Energy a privately held oil and gas exploration company focused on international opportunities in Asia and the Middle East.
